Missteps stalemates out of concern for races
with hopes fading in the wake of failed campaigns
unleashed nerve agents poor relations
anchored right-of-center by blurbs from the burbs
thousands purged failed coups leaving vacuums
in leading institutions bears and lions marooned
not going smoothly to new zoos like raging bulls
pounding in pink pumps for the newly liberal points of view
being addressed anew by drones of the future
zooming over what it means to be "human"
normally abused beneath a flower moon of the awful truth
damaged arch angels looking strangely into blank spaces
left for the violently detained of late blood-stained
suffocation without justification fruitless confluences
pooling illegally bullhorns screaming during the coldest weeks
competing acerbic insensitivities indescribable exciles arriving
rising right-wing parties of major industries minus rhyme and reason
incoherences fluttering like butterflies in the stomach so to speak
deemed "smart-alecky" refugees primed and ready
being forcibly expelled by poison pens...
